Relish the salmon and classic meatballs at IKEA Restaurant

Visiting IKEA is anything but boring. You are always excited on the way there, anticipating a thousand of things… How the showrooms will look this time? What interesting everyday items will I find?IKEA RestaurantWill there be anything useful at a ridiculously low price in the outlet corner? The last time we were really lucky to get a couple of new chairs and a table for our balcony. And as usual, we didn’t even think about replacing the old ones. I take off my hat to you for your creativity, IKEA! Nobody is as good as you in making us want more of your stuff!IKEA RestaurantIn the middle of the IKEA maze you may start feeling a bit hungry, and by the time you finally found your way out  you’d be starving already. Well, maybe it is just me, because my husband normally feels perfectly fine. Sometimes we just grab mashed potato hot dogs and cinnamon rolls at the Bistro (Exit Cafe). However, occasionally we eat Swedish meatballs at IKEA Restaurant. The thing is, every time my husband eats my homemade meatballs, he swears they are the best in the world. But this never stops him from ordering a plate of mashed potatoes and meatballs with lingonberry at IKEA Restaurant. IKEA RestaurantWhich is understandable, because Sweden is famous for meatballs and salmon. I, quite unsurprisingly, end up eating almost half of this all. Luckily, we shared the salmon (my regular choice). This time it was a fillet with Dutch sauce.IKEA RestaurantThen we polished off our desserts without sharing a crumble of it. This time my husband and I opted for an Apple Cake and a Caramel Toffee Cake respectively. There’s also an Arctic wheat cake in the picture.IKEA Restaurant
