A hearty Italian lunch on the way to Roppongi Hills in Pizzeria Savoy

Would you like to eat one of the best Napolitan pizza in Tokyo, drink as much peach tea as you want, and pay only 1000 yen? Did I mention that there also is a big green starter salad? Visit Pizzeria Savoy for lunch! For additional 200 yen you can order espresso, Cola or Ginger Ale, and for 300 yen – mineral water or orange juice.Pizzeria SavoyThere are only two kinds of pizza to choose from, Margherita and Marinara. Usually my husband and I order different kinds, so we can enjoy both tastes. However, I prefer Margherita.Pizzeria SavoyPizzeria SavoySure thing, you can order their meatballs (polpetta) with tomato sauce for 800 yen. We did that once at dinnertime, but their oven-baked pizza is definitely the star of the show.Pizzeria StradaPizzeria Strada

The pizzeria can accommodate 15 customers at most, so a dinner reservation is required. As there are many people waiting to get it, there is really no time to linger after you’ve finished.Pizzeria SavoyPizzeria Savoy was opened in 1995. Now there are two shops in Azabu area, and one in Meguro (called Pizza Giardino Savoy), but I prefer the one closer to Roppongi Hills. Tsubasa Tamaki, the pizzaiolo that worked there had opened his own pizzeria in the area, Strada 10, so we always get lost which pizzeria we want to visit. Because both places make excellent pizza!
