Happy Halloween shopping at Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Ginza

How do you decorate your house or, most likely, tiny Japanese apartment, for Halloween while staying on budget? Some items at 100 yen shops can be nice, but frankly speaking, they just don’t look appealing enough. Finding a branch of Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Tokyo was a perfect solution for me. It’s a variety store similar to the 100 yen shop or Daiso, and in Danish, Tiger is the pronunciation of ten krone (typical price of items).

Flying Tiger CopenhagenImagine a small IKEA without furniture and meatballs, but with more colorful trinkets instead. This is Flying Tiger Copenhagen for you! An exciting shop designed in a maze, with many discoveries to make. It will brighten up your day without fail.

I don’t know how I lived without a remote controlled spider all my life! It is a great invention, but a bit on the expensive side.

If you are eager to get a big spider for Halloween, try the fluffy one for just a fraction of the remote spider’s price (around 300 yen). A nice spider net bowl is optional, but looks great when paired with a spider.

Did you know that licorice (it is the spelling preferred in U.S. and Canada) and the Dutch are inseparable? This black sweet is also considered medicinal and comes in all sorts and sizes.
