Weekend Brunch at COCO’S If you’re feeling lazy this weekend why not try out the weekend brunch buffet at COCO’S. The buffet is available from 7 am until 10:30 am (last entry 10:30 but you don’t have to leave until 11) on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays. It comes at a very reasonable price of 842 yen for adults and 518 yen for children (children 3 or under are free!). Choose from a variety of dishes, both Japanese and Western style, as well as freshly baked bread. The great thing about buffets is that there’s plenty of choice to suit everyone. On this particular day they had prepared udon. And, if you have a sweet tooth, there are waffles which you cook yourself. There are several toppings to choose from; cream, azuki beans, maple syrup, chocolate and banana! There is also a good choice of drinks, starting with 15 different types of tea! There is also cocoa and green tea au lait, to name but a few. Of course there’s also an espresso machine which brews fresh coffee. The custom of brunch is fairly new to Japan but is becoming more popular. Sometimes its nice to treat yourself to a leisurely brunch on your day off!
