Being Irish for a day at Irish Festival in Tokyo

Is there a better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than going to an Irish Festival? Luckily, Tokyo has got you covered on this one. I hadn’t any green clothes, but I took my best Irish mood and a couple of green accessories to Yoyogi last Sunday. The Irish dancers were starting their performance and I had to hurry, because it was my first time to see them in real life. As I have found recently, Japanese people are incredibly good at Irish dancing! Accompanied by traditional Irish music, it was an amazing show.Irish Festival

Shamrock green was everywhere, sparkling in the bright March sun. Must have been Irish luck! Although no real Leprechauns showed up, this toy Irish fairy attracted my attention.Irish FestivalSome friendly girl was giving out shamrock leaf stickers, and of course my friend and I had used them to make the best of the Irish Festival in Tokyo.Irish FestivalIrish Festival
